 |
|
Are Honors courses more difficult then
other courses?
Honors courses are intended to be more stimulating and challenging, not
necessarily more time consuming or difficult. Honors classes tends to be
smaller than regular classes, and involve more class discussion and essay
assignments. If you work hard you should be successful in an honors
course, just as you would in a regular course.
May I take honors courses even if I am
not in the honors program?
No, only students in the honors college are permitted to take honors
courses.
How do I apply for the honors program?
Incoming freshmen apply during summer orientation, which all freshmen are
required to attend. If you meet the ACT and GPA requirements you are
assured admission into the program. Continuing students may apply by
contacting the Director.
