Welcome to a network of over
25,000 alumni world-wide

The Walton College Alumni Society, founded in 2003, is a chartered organization of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Our goal is to promote partnership and networking opportunities among alumni, faculty and friends of the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

Share your experiences and become an active citizen of our alumni community! E-mail to tell us where you are and we'll be sure to keep you in the loop.

Former students of the Walton College provide a solid foundation on which to build future generations of success. By interacting with fellow graduates and cultivating meaningful connections, alumni can strengthen the value of the Walton College degree and experience. Learn more about fellow alumni and read class notes by browsing the Arkansas Alumni Association online community. Update your information to receive alumni news and event notices from the Walton College.

There is strength in numbers. With each graduating class, the community of Walton College alumni multiplies and prospers. By connecting with current students, alumni set the bar for future generations of graduates and encourage them to remain active participants in their community.

Get involved! Give back and look forward!

Nominate your classmates and colleagues!

The Walton College Alumni Society encourages your participation in our annual alumni awards.  Each year we recognize Walton College alumni for their outstanding achievements in business, and service to the Walton College and University of Arkansas.  Award nominations are accepted year-round and remain active for three years. The selection committee seeks nominations for the categories listed below.  If you know a Walton College graduate deserving of recognition, we encourage and appreciate your nomination.  Click here for the nomination form or e-mail for more details.

The deadline for 2014 awards is August 16, 2013.

Outstanding Service Award recognizes service by a Walton College graduate who helps to build and sustain the alumni and student network. Service is defined as meaningful commitment of one’s time and talent by actively engaging (either locally or remotely) in Walton College programs and initiatives. Examples include helping students find jobs and internships, participating in and promoting alumni events and activities, volunteering for one of the many Walton College departments, centers or advisory boards.

Entrepreneur of the Year recognizes a Walton College graduate who has proven innovative and successful in a business venture of his/her own creation or reinvention. Preference is given to entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least five years. However, consideration will also be given to emerging entrepreneurs who exhibit the business acumen, drive and dedication essential to long-term success.

Lifetime Achievement is reserved for a Walton College graduate who has made significant achievements in his/her career and is recognized as an industry and community leader. This individual exemplifies the core values of the Walton College, inspires students, and is a source of pride for his/her alma mater.  This award will not necessarily be presented every year and will only be bestowed as deemed appropriate by the Awards Committee based on the pool of candidates.

Walton College Commencement Speaker is a special honor bestowed upon an individual to address the graduates and academic community of the Walton College. The speaker may or may not be a Walton College or University graduate but will be someone who has made significant achievements in his/her career, is recognized as an industry and community leader, and exemplifies the core values of the Walton College. He/she should be a source of inspiration to students and a proven public speaker.
