Leadership Walton Application
The application period for Leadership Walton is now closed for the 2009-2010 academic year. We will begin accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year in summer 2010.
Selection Process
- All applications will be considered by the Leadership Walton Committee, and selections will be based on enrollment constraints (150 incoming freshmen, 50 current students = 200 total).
- Once accepted, students must attend a Leadership Walton Orientation and must sign a Leadership Walton contract (program progress agreement). A program plan will be provided at orientation.
Progress Assessment
- If a freshman participant is not satisfactorily progressing through program after two semesters of enrollment, the student will be removed from the program.
- If a sophomore, junior or senior participant (who has entered the program as a sophomore, junior or senior) is not progressing through the program after one semester of enrollment, the student will be removed from the program.
- Leadership Walton Coordinator will assess student progression through benchmarking.
