Lecture Opportunities

Leadership Walton participants must attend at least eight academic lectures before graduation. The following is a partial list of scheduled speakers or events that will satisfy one lecture requirement each. You are not limited to this list. We encourage you to attend Walton College lectures, as those apply more specifically to your area of study. However you may also attend general U of A lectures. Lectures must be approved by the Leadership Walton Coordinator.

Financial Markets with Carter Worth

Carter Worth, Managing Director and Chief Market Technician at Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. in New York and frequent CNBC market commentator, will be the featured speaker. He will discuss technical analysis of financial markets. Troy Clark, CFA, Fixed Income Strategist at Stephens Inc. in Little Rock, will discuss the effect of new government policies on the fixed income market. This free event is open to all students. Career opportunities for CFA designation holders will also be discussed. Space is limited so reserve your seat now by contacting Traci Terrahe at gfi@walton.uark.edu.
