MBA Graduate, Spring 2009

  • 100% of graduates responded to the Career Center survey.
  • 72% of job seeking graduates were employed at graduation.
  • 80% of job seeking graduates were employed by one month after graduation.
  • $61,531 is the average salary of those employed at graduation; $61,458 is the average salary of those employed one month after graduation.
  • High Salary= $124,000; Low Salary = $45,000; Median = $57,500; Standard Deviation = $20,727.45.
  • 86% of graduates were employed in Arkansas.
  • 10% of graduates were continuing their education.
  • When compared to students' original salaries upon entry into the MBA program, the class average increase in salary, of employed students at graduation, is $28,218 - 84% average increase in salary.

MBA Internships

As part of the newly revised MBA program, a summer internship is an optional component students can choose as part of their degree program, or the student may participate in study abroad. In partnership with the Graduate School of Business, the Career Center assisted with the recruitment of businesses and organizations to commit to hire summer MBA interns.

  • 94% of class was employed in a summer 2008 internship.
  • Average summer internship salary: $7,904.
  • Intern hiring companies included the following: Clark Nilfisk, Foundation Resource Management, Kellogg's, NPD Group, Dial, Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, Saatchi & Saatchi X, Novartis, Dannon, Hershey, Land O'Lakes, Newell Rubbermaid, Applied Sustainability Center, and Supply Chain Management Research Center.
