Job Shadow Program

The job shadowing program provided me with an opportunity to learn first hand the supplier's responsibilities to retailers. Vessi, my mentor at Nestle-Purina, showed me how a consumer product company analyzed point of sales data and how they made sure that the products that the customer wants was always in stock at the store. The job shadowing program is worthwhile to anyone who wants to see firsthand how business actually works day-to-day.

The Walton College of Business Career Center Job Shadowing Program is designed to give business majors a connection to their local business community and a unique resource for discussing issues related to their career interests. Participating students interact with business and industry professionals and are exposed to a variety of learning experiences provided by partner companies and organizations. This program also provides an excellent opportunity for regional alumni to re-connect with the Walton College of Business and interact with current students.

Now Accepting Students Interested in Participating in a Job Shadow experience The Walton College Career Center is now accepting students to participate in the Job Shadow program.

Program Objective
