Job Placement
Forty two students graduated with a degree in Information Systems, and thirty one students graduated with a Master’s degree in Information Systems this year. The graduation rate increased significantly in both the Undergraduate and Master’s students. (There were 29 Undergraduate and 27 Masters graduates last year).
Undergraduate Employment Outcomes (from Fall 2008 – Spring 2009)
Of the 32 ISYS undergraduates listed, information was gathered from 31 (97%). 28 students were seeking a full-time job. Of the 28 job seekers, 21, or 75% were employed by graduation. 10%, of the total graduation class, were continuing their education. Average ISYS salary for the fall 2008- spring 2009 undergraduates was $57,092. Employing companies include: ConocoPhillips, Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, and J.B. Hunt.
Graduate Employment Outcomes (from Fall 2008 – Spring 2009)
For MIS 2008– 2009 graduates, employment data includes the following: 57% response rate to Career Center survey. 95% of job seekers were employed by graduation, with an average salary of $60,667. Employing companies include: Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, J.B. Hunt, UAMS, Accenture, Intel, NextDocs Corp., and Real Networks.
