Enterprise Systems:
"World Class Computing"

Enterprise Systems are the large-scale information technology systems used today at the world’s largest corporations. They are also used in the Walton College graduate and undergraduate programs.

While most universities have migrated their computing programs to PC and Unix-based platforms, the Walton College is the only business school in the world that uses in its classes the following large-scale or Enterprise Systems:

  • IBM z-Series 900 Mainframe Server
  • Teradata Database Server
  • SAP Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence Studio
  • Large-scale, real- world datasets from companies such as Sam’s Club, Tyson Foods, Dillard’s, Wal-Mart and Acxiom
