Transportation & Logistics Student Organizations
Women in Logistics (WIL) is a Walton College student lead organization with an active Executive branch that is delivering a new perspective by increasing awareness and interest in logistics and supply chain management through programming, mentoring, networking, as well as other premier events.
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is a new student organization in the Walton College and whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, a CSCMP Student Membership offers you a way to get an early start on your supply chain career. A membership also provides unlimited possibilities to network and form lasting relationships- with not only your global student peers, but also with industry professionals around the world who share first-hand insight into the "real-world" of the supply chain. While participating in CSCMP, students will also have the opportunity to win awards, scholarships and recognition.
The Transportation and Logistics Association (TLA) is a student service organization that caters to the ambitions of our Supply Chain Management students. The TLA is committed to establishing a strong relationship between members of the University of Arkansas, the transportation and logistics industry, and the local community. The TLA is devoted to promoting awareness of the transportation and logistics program within the University and throughout the business community. It promotes and encourages employment of its members in the transportation and logistics field upon graduation by helping students network with executives and prepare for careers in the business industry. The organization attempts to create a common bond of its members through social events and service projects which will extend throughout their careers.
