What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and
distributing Web content, such as news headlines. Using an RSS reader, you
can view data feeds from various news sources including headlines, summaries,
links to full articles.
How do I access RSS?
RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS
feeds for you. A number of free and commercial news aggregators are available
for
download.
Many aggregators are separate, programs. Other services will let you add RSS
feeds to a Web page.
TERMS OF USE
RSS is a free service offered by the Sam M. Walton College of Business to
individuals for private, non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without
limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising
associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited.
You must use the RSS feeds as provided, and you may not edit or modify the text,
content or links. The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which
a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly
to the display of the full article on the Walton College web site. You may not
display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to the
applicable Walton College web page.
The Walton College retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content,
and any and all logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service.
You must provide attribution to the appropriate Walton College website in
connection with your use of the RSS feeds.
